I had many different ideas for this last day of my daily design project. I chose to settle on some fire typography, symbolising the end (of this project) and the beginning (of the new year).
I’m happy I managed to keep up with, and complete this project, designing the date in a different way every single day during 2012. There have been some good and not so good days, some hard times, and times when I felt like giving up, but I’m glad I stuck with it. I’ve enjoyed being able to experiment, although the daily time constraints were often hard to work within. I would have loved to have had more time to practice techniques and develop the ideas more. I learnt you can never run out of ideas – they are truly endless.
Thanks to all my subscribers and visitors to this website. It really helped having people following along each day, and asking me questions about it in conversation. Also a special, big thank you to my wonderful husband Raymond, who helped me every step of the way, I couldn’t have done it without him.
I look forward to lazy days at the beach and having a nice relaxing summer, but also have a few ideas in the pipeline, so watch this space. All the best for the new year and whatever it brings!
