Today it’s our 4th wedding anniversary. Each year my husband Raymond and I like to celebrate by giving each other presents in the theme of the anniversary. This year’s symbol is fruit and flowers.
I chose to do an intricate paper cut, all done by hand over many hours, which I’ve presented in a simple white frame. It incorporates the date (12 at the top, then from the left starting with ‘A’ spells out APRIL going anti-clockwise), as well as fruit and flowers to keep with the theme.
I’m really happy with the result. Although if I did this again, I would not choose to incorporate circles into the design at all, as they are the trickiest shapes to cut out!
Happy anniversary baby!
